MSI has confirmed What we said exclusively a few days agothat AMD’s Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” processors and X670 motherboards will launch on September 15.

You’d think AMD would beat MSI to revealing its product release date, but instead the latter revealed the launch of the Ryzen 7000 series of processors and its X670 series of motherboards at once, falling to mid-September, and both indicating the same day .

AMD hasn’t officially revealed the dates themselves, but our sources have already pointed it out and we even learned of the August 29 announcement where the red team will leak full specs and pricing. We’ve already given you the full specs rundown, which we’ve also unveiled first, exclusively.

MSI plans to initially release four X670 motherboards for the AMD Ryzen 7000 family of desktop processors, which would include the MEG X670E GODLIKE, MEG X670E Ace, MPG X670E Carbon WiFI, and PRO X670E-P WIFI. We’ll get more information like pricing, overclocking, and DDR5 memory support closer to launch. The company will also have a range of B650 chipset motherboards to show off, but they aren’t expected to launch until a bit later.

Yesterday during AMD’s “Meet The Experts” livestream, MSI gave a bit more information about their X670E motherboards. MSI pushes the boundaries with high-end heatsink designs such as screwless M.2 Shield Frozr technology, M.2 XPANDER-Z Gen 5 Dual AIC (supporting up to two PCIe Gen 5.0 x4 SSDs) in an active cooling solution), 60W USB Type-C power delivery and more robust power supply for each level of the motherboard. We also get a better look at the MEG X670E GODLIKE which looks as dumb as ever with its massively saturated PCB design and tons of I/O to work with. More details on the MSI range here.
